Katie’s role as the Marketing Manager for Colliers | Charlotte is to create and execute multi-faceted marketing strategies and brand awareness campaigns to accelerate success of each Colliers client and professional in digital advertising, visual and written content, website development, social media and media relations.
Katie manages content posted to our website, reviews external and internal communications, manages media relations operations, maintains the database of contacts used for property email marketing and media relations, compiles and distributes marketing campaign reports internally and for clients, develops staff profiles for new employees, and organizes sponsorships and events.
Prior to Colliers, Katie worked as Marketing Coordinator at Collett for over eight years, she understands the transactional process from start to finish. She has designed visual pieces including flyers, offering memorandums, broker opinion of values, case studies, custom websites and various other visual pieces needed to accomplish market exposure.

I attended Appalachian State University located in Boone, NC where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing and minor in supply chain management. Throughout college, I worked as golf shop merchandiser at Linville Ridge Country Club where I coordinated the selection and purchase of all apparel and merchandise along with orchestrating all visual displays and marketing promotions.

Kirsten began her career in commercial real estate in 1989 obtaining her Broker’s License in both North and South Carolina in 1999. In 33 years, Ms. Patterson has worked in all aspects of the industry.
In 2005, Kirsten was responsible for implementing all operations for the newly established firm, Clarus Properties, Inc. Within five years, Clarus affiliated with Colliers International and she was directly responsible for the conversion of operations and managing a rapid personnel expansion under the Colliers flag.
In 2019, Ms. Patterson worked in conjunction with the Managing Partners in implementing a full integration with Colliers International. She and her team worked with the leaders of Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations and Transaction Management to reach a complete incorporation in Colliers North American platform within six months.
Currently Kirsten is the Senior Operations Manager. She continues to direct the daily operations while supporting many of our resident teams and service lines. She also works as local counsel to share cultural, procedural, and financial perspective with our North American leaders and local professionals.
As a client services coordinator for Colliers in Charlotte, Doris Ellis provides comprehensive marketing services for several brokers who specialize in landlord and tenant representation, and industrial, office and retail properties.
Serving as an integral member of each broker’s team, Doris manages marketing, client services and administrative activities in support of the brokers’ clients, property listings and business development efforts. With a thorough understanding of real estate, Doris eagerly contributes ideas to increase each broker’s business and visibility in the marketplace.
