AREA OF EXPERTISE
Jonathan Rubins, Senior Property Manager, has over 25+ years of commercial real estate management experience, specializing in Class A office, medical office and retail management. Jonathan utilizes his extensive knowledge in management to ensure each property is operating with the highest level of service and efficiency. His goal is to positively establish and maintain client, tenant and vendor relations while providing excellent service. He has proven success in capital and tenant improvement projects, reduction of operating expenses and tenant retention.
Jonathan has effectively created and managed budgets in excess of $11 million and is more than adept at contract negotiation, staff and property management. He has operated at all levels of commercial real estate in his career and his understanding of the industry makes him a valuable member of the management team.
Jonathan was named Property Manager of the Quarter for Q2 of 2013 while with Behringer Harvard. He instituted a tenant relations program that resulted in improved communications to enhance overall tenant satisfaction. Jonathan has also won two BOMA TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) Awards for renovated buildings he oversaw. He also has his RCM.
BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Colliers, Jonathan served as General Manager for Behringer Harvard managing the only premium Class A medical office building in Palm Beach Gardens. He was also responsible for all management functions of the largest Class A Office buildings in Wichita, Kansas and Manchester, New Hampshire. While at Grubb & Ellis, Jonathan oversaw property managers statewide in Florida while effectively managing his own assets. Throughout his career he has been responsible for approximately four million square feet of commercial real estate, including distressed properties, and he has consistently maintained a level of service that is unmatched.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from Syracuse University. He is also a graduate of Leadership West Palm Beach with the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
He was previously a member of the Palm Beach Gardens Planning and Zoning Board. He also served as Chairman of BOMA Florida PAC, working on commercial real estate issues, in addition to serving as President of Jewish Family & Children’s Services of West Palm Beach.
