Senior Vice President
John Ogburn is responsible for client relations, business development, and overall management of key Colliers’ Investor Services accounts. As Senior Vice President, he ensures a consistent, seamless delivery of services of all service lines on a national level for some of Colliers’ largest institutional clients.
As an integral part of the Investor Services platform, John focuses on strategically connecting Colliers’ retail, industrial, office, multifamily, brokerage, investment sales and property management service lines with key institutional clients with the goal of creating mutual value and relationship growth.
- Grew Invesco account with CBRE from 2 MSF to more than 31 MSF, adding revenue from all business lines, including an average of $457M in annual Capital Markets Dispositions
- Founding member of the Strategic Accounts platform at CBRE
- Headed Global Premier Properties team that was charged with building business with the worlds most iconic buildings.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr. Ogburn was with CBRE for 21 years as a Senior Managing Director. There, he worked with the Strategic Accounts team to manage several important client relationships, including Invesco, PMRA, KBS, Goldman Sachs, UBS, EOP, Behringer Harvard, and Principal. In addition, he oversaw CBRE Global Premier Properties—the sophisticated platform of management services designed around the needs of world-class properties.
Mr. Ogburn began his real estate career in 1987 with PMRealty Advisors. As the building and operations manager for Pacific Mutual Life Companies’ corporate headquarters and 800/840 Newport Center Drive, he gained valuable experience in energy management, institutional capital improvements, tenant satisfaction and overall Class A management techniques. He subsequently managed and leased and sold portfolios for O’Donnell Property Services, The Leaverton Company and Pac Trust.
