Professional Summary
John Larson joined Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services in 1999. John has combined his broad interests and experience into a thriving commercial appraisal practice, having appraised a variety of property types including multifamily apartments and condominiums, offices, retail buildings, residential subdivisions, senior care facilities, vacant land, industrial buildings and special use properties.
In 2005, John focused his professional interests, specializing in affordable multifamily appraisals and other affordable MFR services and products including Rural Development (USDA) appraisals, LIHTC (tax credit) appraisals, market studies for TCAC and other state tax credit allocation committees as well as HUD rent surveys. John now oversees a group of appraiser associates. His affordable multifamily group is capable of completing large portfolio appraisal assignments in addition to smaller fee assignments.
Accomplishments
John opened the Central Valley Office of Colliers International Valuation and Advisory Services (CIVAS) in Fresno, California, in the Fall of 2012. Currently writing the Demonstration Report, John is near completion of the MAI desination of the Appraisal Institute, having completed all coursework and passing the Comprehensive Exam in 2013.
