Professional Summary

As Vice Chair at Colliers International Boston, I truly enjoy the constant interaction and dialog with both clients and colleagues, always striving to add value through good, strategic advice in a very dynamic marketplace. My current position affords me the opportunity to evaluate a client’s situation, assemble a team of the most suitable Colliers representatives, and then orchestrate a strategic plan with all the necessary ingredients for a successful implementation. I have the great fortune of being surrounded by very bright, motivated colleagues. I devote myself to thoughtful hiring, mentoring, and training practices to best position Colliers for continued growth and success well into the future.

I joined the highly reputable Meredith & Grew – now Colliers International – over thirty years ago after working in a sales role for Xerox Corporation. The sales skills I honed at Xerox served me well in the early stages of my career and have since been enhanced by deep market knowledge and industry expertise acquired over the years. Moreover, serving on the boards of several organizations, such as St. Sebastian’s School, Dedham Savings, and Big Brothers & Big Sisters, has given me a unique glimpse into various micro and macroeconomic factors (ie. hiring, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, debt, law, etc.) to better understand issues and challenges my own clients may be facing and advise accordingly.

Winning inspires me. Whether it is my own personal success or taking pride in a colleague’s or the firm’s accomplishments, I am consistently motivated to provide the highest level of service, both as an advisor to clients and as a leader within Colliers. Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, participating in athletic activities like squash, golf, tennis, and yoga, and spending time with my family, especially at our home on Squam Lake.

Mr. Elcock has completed over 750 tenant representation transactions totaling more than eight million square feet for tenants including Reed Elsevier, RF Micro Devices, Liberty Mutual, TechTarget, Blue Cross Blue Shield, New England Aquarium, Lojack, Inc. and numerous non-profit organizations.  Mr. Elcock was also named GBREB 2003 “Broker of the Year.”
