Jacob Hutchings is the Valuation Services Director for Colliers Valuation & Advisory Services and Fort Myers market leader. Upon graduation from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2007, he began his real estate appraisal career as an associate appraiser with Maxwell, Hendry, & Simmons, LLC (formerly Maxwell & Hendry Valuation Services, Inc.). For more than 15 years he has worked almost exclusively in Southwest Florida, primarily covering Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Sarasota Counties.
He has performed valuation services for a wide variety property types including medical and professional office, single and multitenant industrial, single and multitenant retail, local and national net leased (office, retail, and industrial), car wash, automotive dealership, institutional (religious, education, and government), marina, as well as large and small vacant land tracts.
In addition to traditional appraisal services, he has extensive experience with FEMA 50% appraisals and insurable value (replacement cost for insurance purposes) reports.
