I am a Vice President with Colliers in New Hampshire and am licensed in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I am fluent in French, Dutch, English, and Portuguese. I began my career in commercial real estate in 2000, and in 2003, I obtained my Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation at the CCIM National Convention held in San Antonio, TX. The CCIM designation denotes a recognized expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry.
Having lived in Salem for over 20 years, I have long-term involvement and history with the town. Currently, I am serving a third term on the Salem Economic Development Action Committee, which gives me valuable insight on plans for upcoming economic development in the area. I am also an active member with the Greater Salem Rotary Club.
Before joining Colliers, I ran my own consulting firm in Portugal, Europe. During that period, I was contacted by Planal sa, the owner of a 2,000 acre exclusive resort in Southern Europe known as Quinta do Lago, to implement, develop, and direct their worldwide commercial division. Under my management, the biannual “Unique” magazine, published by Planal sa, received the Algarve Tourism Board Award in 1996.
Prior to Portugal, I was active in the financial banking industry as the International Sales and Marketing Director for SWIFT, sc, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

"Hugo represented us in leasing our urgent care center in Windham. He is one of the most professional and diligent agents I’ve had the pleasure to work with. We had very specific requirements, but Hugo was exceptionally thorough and generated multiple opportunities with developers. Hugo thoughtfully negotiated with the landlord to change their plans for the property to accommodate our needs. Despite several roadblocks, Hugo completed this complicated transaction, always putting our interests first and making us feel as though we were his only client. You will not find a better representative to assist you with your commercial real estate needs.”
Max Puyanic, CEO
"It was diligence to purpose that enabled Hugo to conclude a transaction that was nearly six months in the making. He was available at all hours to respond to inquiries, show the property to prospects and work with a qualified buyer with regard to all aspects of the transaction including zoning, a complex easement arrangement, appraisals and many other issues that required a great deal of his time, effort and expertise to resolve. We would not hesitate to retain and recommend him for future engagements."
