Grant Butler

As a Property Manager for Colliers | South Carolina, I primarily manage a large portfolio of industrial properties and specifically a portfolio of assets owned by an industrial real estate investor. I develop property budgets, implement cost-effective solutions for repairs and ensure that preventative maintenance practices are utilized to extend the lifespan of each asset.

My customer service and communication experience, along with my knowledge of the industrial market, will help guide my clients to meet their financial goals. What I love about managing industrial properties is the vast challenges that come with each property. Each building has different nuances about them, and no two buildings are the same. This creates interesting challenges that require me to problem solve and overcome each hurdle. I find success in my work when I am exceeding my clients’ and Colliers’ standards of expectations.

I am proud to have been a part of the largest private real estate transaction in South Carolina that occurred within the last 10 years when a Cleveland-based real estate investor purchased the Carolina Industrial Properties portfolio from Reger Holdings LLC. 

In 2020, I was the recipient of the Colliers | South Carolina Rising Star Award. I also received the Service Excellence Award which celebrates outstanding quality, creativity, geographic reach and unique teaming and collaboration.

In 2021, I received the ONE Colliers Award. The ONE Colliers Award recipient embodies and promotes Colliers’ six core values of integrity, service, collaboration, fun, expertise and community to both the company and in our communities to play a role in unifying the Colliers team as ONE.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Murray State University. I began my career with Greystar as a leasing professional and then later became an Assistant Community Manager for another Greystar multifamily property. I gained valuable experience working for Greystar and developed the skills needed to become a successful property manager. I was then hired by a real estate investor out of New York as an Assistant Property Manager to help manage a portfolio of 37 industrial properties. These properties were purchased in 2020 by another investor, and I was given the opportunity to work with Colliers | South Carolina to manage the same assets.

I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and daughter. We enjoy hiking and camping in the mountains and spending time at the beach.
