In my career  I have completed transactions with a combined market value in excess of two billion dollars.

Employment growth through the first quarter of 2021 drove increased demand for apartments across much of the United States, although a recent slowdown in job growth may impact the market going forward. The longest period of economic expansion in post-war history came to an abrupt halt when annualized GDP growth for Q1 2020 slipped into negative territory as the COVID-19 pandemic began to impact global markets.
