About
Professional Summary
Nothing excites me more than getting up every day to see the progress we are making on the Honolulu Rapid Transit Project. Each step forward brings us closer to realizing the economic, social and environmental opportunities associated with Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). In my work as Project Lead for the Transit-Oriented Development Group of Colliers Hawaii, my comprehensive understanding of the rail project and the associated opportunities and challenges gives property owners, developers and investors a distinct advantage as they pursue TOD-related goals.
Building on a successful career in leasing and sales transactions, I shifted my focus to TOD several years ago and have never looked back. I am actively engaged in TOD feasibility studies on behalf of owners and government entities as well as major TOD re-development projects. I consider facilitating communications between the private and public sector one of the most interesting and vital parts of my TOD work and have spent years developing trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Rail truly is the most transformative project ever undertaken on Oahu. Rail is the impetus that will drive TOD projects to re-shape our urban areas to a more sustainable, human and culturally attuned way and absolutely is the opportunity of a lifetime. How we do this will impact generations to come and we must get it right.
