Prior to Colliers, Edward got his start in the industry with Marcus & Millichap in Ontario, CA, in 2011. Previously, he had launched his own investment fund with a focus on currency and U.S. equities risk arbitrage in Langley, Canada, with $30 million in assets under management. Edward spent three years prior to that as a currency trader at Barclay Capital in London, Tokyo and Singapore, before which he had also served as a cash management analyst for Western Asset Management, one of the world’s leading fixed-income managers with $450 billion in assets under management.

A Vice President at Colliers, David Lin is based in Downtown Los Angeles, where he represents multifamily investors across the San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire and North Orange County markets. Born and raised in Taiwan, David speaks Mandarin fluently and is instrumental in helping his clients bridge the gap between commercial real estate here in the U.S. and overseas investors seeking to place capital.
David made his debut in the commercial real estate industry in 2014 with Marcus & Millichap’s Ontario office before joining Colliers in 2019. Prior to that, he worked as a fixed-income analyst for Union Bank in Downtown Los Angeles, before transitioning to serve as a mutual fund analyst for Wilshire Associates in Santa Monica, a fund with more than $130 billion in assets under management. Thereafter, David moved to San Diego to serve as a hedge fund analyst for Altegris Advisors.
Jeff Lin is a Vice President for Colliers in Downtown Los Angeles, where he specializes in advising investors of single- and multi-tenant retail properties in the San Gabriel Valley and across Southern California. Having joined the team in 2014 at Marcus & Millichap, Jeff began his commercial real estate career in 2009. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Loss Prevention Analyst for fashion retailer BCBG Max Azria, where he gained invaluable experience with inventory control, identifying internal theft, analyzing department budgets, auditing sales and building automated database reports.
Born and raised in Taiwaan, Jeff speaks both Mandarin and English fluently, lending him great value in an environment where investors are eager to place overseas capital in tangible U.S. assets.
Based in the firm’s Downtown L.A. office, Jason is an Associate Vice President for
Colliers International, with a focus on multifamily brokerage services in Southern California. Like his associates, his geographical area of expertise spans the San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire and North Orange County. Jason joined the team in 2017 at Marcus & Millichap prior to moving to Colliers in 2019. Before that, he served as a global account executive for The Apex Group/Kerry Logistics, which acquired and managed international trading partners providing full spectrum 3PL coordination services. In that role, Jason traveled between the U.S., China and Hong Kong, gaining insight on Asian business culture and building an extensive network of cross-continental clientele.
Born in Taiwan, Jason moved to the U.S. as a teenager and speaks both English and Mandarin well. He is also proficient in Taiwanese and Cantonese.
