Doug Petty began his real estate career in 1992. Specializing in the sale and leasing of office properties, Doug represents both landlords and tenants and has negotiated transactions in many national markets and in nearly every major office park in Utah along the Wasatch Front.
Doug joined CBC Advisors in 1999 and then Colliers International in early 2018. He is involved in the development, leasing and sales of office properties throughout the United States. He has provided financial analyses of lease and purchase alternatives for major developers and institutions and has been recognized as an authority in evaluating facilities requirements for a multitude of national organizations.
Notable clients have included 1800Contacts, Alert Cellular, Aerotek, Inc., Concentra Healthcare, Convergent Communications, Day & Zimmermann, Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., Franklin Covey, Moyle Petroleum/Exxon, National Multiple Sclerocis Society, Productivity Point International, Roberts & Schafer and Sunquest International. Doug is among a select group of commercial real estate professionals with multimarket expertise and experience representing firms encompassing North America. His detail-oriented approach has resulted in tremendous cost savings for both institutional and corporate clients.
Recognized as an authority in commercial real estate, Doug has been interviewed and featured in the Wall Street Journal, Utah Business Magazine and The Enterprise. In addition to representing the needs of corporate clients, he also represents many of the most prestigious office parks and landlords in the Utah office market, including RiverPark Corporate Center, The Towers at South Towne, Riverwoods Business Park, Canyon Park Technology Center and The Woodlands. Since 2012, Doug has closed over 120 major transactions and leased or sold well over 1.5 million square feet of space.
