My Team
Jacqui joined the Colliers team in 2011. and was promoted to her current role in 2017. As the Strategic Operations Manager for REMS U.S., she works directly with the REM U.S. leadership team to manage the strategic alignment of the national and local market teams. In this role Jacqui’s focus is on implementing systems, structing successful cross market communications, and bridging processes and procedures.
The Strategic Operations team is committed to successful processes implementation, team dynamic optimization and ensuring Colliers International Real Estate Management Services accelerates the success of our team members, partners and clients, alike.
I work in the Washington, DC office with a team of accounting specialists to ensure that REMS stays profitable, and that we always produce high-quality financial statements. Most people know me as the person that denies or approves big expenses, but I regularly work with property managers and corporate accountants to write budgets, create financial forecasts, complete operating expense reconciliations, and develop comprehensive property reports.
Before joining Colliers in 2011, I spent time with Grubb & Ellis, CB Richard Ellis, and Trammel Crow over a period of nearly 20 years. I have worked closely with investor-clients like Prudential, MRP Realty, and ING, which has given me insight in to the reporting needs of multiple different types of commercial real estate businesses. I am a morning person, so people usually see me at the office bright and early but when I need to take a break and relax, I teach yoga at a local studio and was certified as an instructor in 2015.
As President Real Estate Management Services US, I develop complete real estate solutions that address my clients’ business needs. This means connecting our retail, industrial, office, multifamily, brokerage, investment sales, and property management groups in ways that create memorable experiences. In addition, I oversee property management operations in the United States.
I am active in the commercial real estate community through multiple organizations including IREM, CREW, and BOMA. To help prepare college students for careers in commercial real estate, I also work with the Industry Advisory Board for Virginia Tech’s Program in Real Estate, of which I am founding member. Nearest to my heart is the work I do with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in Washington, DC, which has placed more than 7,000 animals in new homes since 2009. I always have a few dogs staying at my house that are looking for their forever homes.
