I oversee 300,000 sf office buildings which includes over 650 on-site employees. I am responsible for the oversight of all vendors performing work at the properties and am on call 24/7 for any tenant need or emergency. I am also responsible for the completion of owner requested weekly operations checklist that reviews all property operations, including landscaping, snow removal, structural issues, vacant space condition, roof inspections, fire / life safety issues, electrical issues, and plumbing / irrigation issues.
Prior to joining Colliers, I managed these same properties for 6 years with another management firm. I also owned and operated a local shoreline erosion control business that operated in the Indy area for 15 years. Prior to that, I worked in sales and as a plant manager for a local steel warehouse for 16 years.
I have completed the Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry for the private sector that covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. This course also places special emphasis on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.
In my spare time, I enjoy restoring old cars / hot rods. I also enjoy time with my family ― especially the grandkids ― and any time spent on the lakes, traveling and cruising at sea.
