David Tricarico is an executive director in Colliers International’s New York office. He focuses on retail tenant and owner representation across the five boroughs of New York City, with the Downtown market as a specialty area. For retail tenants, he assists in developing and executing real estate strategies in one of the most competitive markets in the world. Owners of properties with retail components benefit from his insight into optimal positioning and marketing of space, targeting of appropriate tenants, value add financial/amenity advice, and completion of transactions that benefit all parties long term. He joined Colliers in 2017.
David Tricarico has more than 18 years of retail experience in the New York market. He has advised owners and developers including Cape Advisors, Magnum Real Estate Group, CIM, Rose Associates, Jamestown LP, UDR, Inc., Union Investment Real Estate, Beacon Capital, CBS Corporation, Verizon, Ceres Real Estate and Colony Capital in retail acquisition and disposition initiatives at 140 West Street, 51 West 52nd Street, 88 Greenwich Street, 31-00 47th Avenue (Long Island City), and other properties in Manhattan and the outer boroughs. For tenants, Mr. Tricarico has secured flagship locations in connection with national expansions for Canada Goose and Inglot Cosmetics, and found strategic storefronts for JPMorgan Chase, ING Direct, the MTA, Unilever, Verizon and City Acres.
Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Tricarico spent 11 years on Cushman & Wakefield’s New York retail team. Before that, he spent two years with The Staubach Company and three years at Garrick-Aug.
Mr. Tricarico is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and a member and past secretary for the Membership Committee of the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association (YMWREA).
He earned a Bachelor of Science from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
