With over 38 years in the commercial real estate industry, David Atchison brings a depth of experience and knowledge to every transaction. Atchison considers it his personal mission to create the maximum value of each property for each client. His background as a developer provides unique insight and guidance to developers, owners, and investors. He also understands the other side of the table, as he has served as a consultant to retailers, assisting them in the development and execution of growth and expansion plans.
At Colliers, Atchison focuses on urban retail leasing and mixed-use development. He has completed transactions in 29 states that have involved everything from large institutions to smaller companies. David also specializes in large complex projects, as illustrated by his involvement in consulting, brokering and closing one of the largest real estate transactions in Nashville’s recent history for LifeWay. Atchison sold their former campus for $125 million and assisted them in relocating their headquarters four blocks away.
