Professional Summary

There is one connection amongst all the roles I have had during my career: the opportunity to help people and their businesses. After 10 years in sales and management, I decided to pursue a career in commercial real estate. I like to find creative ways to help my clients achieve their goals by placing myself in their shoes. As a commercial real estate broker, my clients and I develop a partnership so that together we can navigate some of the barriers they may be facing with their real estate.

Commercial real estate at times can feel overwhelming and the landscape in today's office market is quickly evolving. Whether my client is a national business, that needs broker collaboration amongst multiple offices, or a local business with one office, understanding what’s important to my client and the needs of their business is the key to success.

When I’m not at work, I'm either spending time with my family or friends.  My wife and I reside in El Dorado Hills with our two daughters.  Whether we're spending the day in San Francisco, taking a trip to the beach, snowboarding in Tahoe, or simple taking a hike around the lake, we enjoy all that California has to offer.

"Dan Green's energetic, get it done attitude combined with his in-depth knowledge of the El Dorado Hills area commercial market helped me fill two vacancies in record time with maximum return.  I was extremely impressed and look forward to working with Dan on future endeavors." -Felicia Solzer, 889 Embarcadero LLC.

"Dan and Scott have been a huge help to GridSME and our search for a new office in Folsom. They started by first getting to know us and our company and asked a lot of questions to really identify our needs and wants. From there, they laid-out a lot of options. Along the way, they did a great job educating us on the marketplace, commercial real estate best practices, and the pitfalls to avoid. As we got into negotiations with owners, they always had our best interests in mind, freely shared information, and made sure we kept our options open. They were also a big help in advising us on the lease agreement and making sure we got our money’s worth on TI’s. In the end, because of Dan and Scott’s efforts and guidance, we found an ideal space and location for our company at a very competitive price. We highly recommend them to other businesses in the area!" -Matt Barnes, Grid Subject Matter Experts

"When deciding whether or not to list my property, Dan was a knowledge expert on the El Dorado Hills community and provided me with all of the information on how the market was doing so that I could make the best possible decision. His estimated timeline from listing-to offers-to sale was dead-on which helped me make the best decision for relocating my existing business. To this day, Dan continues to be an asset to me on what is going on in my community. I would highly recommend Dan and will use him for all of my future commercial transactions." - Dennis Badzik, JBDev

"This was my first experience using a commercial Broker and couldn’t have been more satisfied.  Dan thoroughly researched our local market and found the best space for our CrossFit gym to operate out of and ensured we received a below market rate.  We were on a very tight timeline to find a new facility and Dan made sure that all of our needs were met in a timely matter and greatly helped alleviate the stress that comes with changing your location of business (He even showed up to assist with the move!).  I’d highly recommend Dan Green and Colliers for any of your commercial property needs.  In fitness,"-Peter Santos, Crossfit Bios

"Our school spent almost the last two years trying to get a commercial realtor to help us find a new site for our school within El Dorado county. We tried nearly every available company serving the Business Park area of El Dorado Hills to work with us. Jason Rutherford and Dan Green from Colliers International were the only responsive team to our unique needs. They were very creative in their efforts and were willing to undertake what seemed like a near impossible task to find us our new location. Dan was especially attentive in following up with us and letting us know important details along the way. Everyone at Rising Sun Montessori School is thankful for their hard work and we are happy to report that we finally have our new location. We could not have done it without their dedication to our search." - Robin Zierhut,  Rising Sun Montessori School

"From the very beginning, you have gone out of your way to answer our questions, entertained our requests at odd hours to meet at the location so that we could take endless measurements and have given us useful suggestions and options to consider, that we never would have thought of. You have acted in our interests, negotiating to secure a lease that fits within our budget, allowing us to more comfortably ramp up and do a proof of concept for our business. Your friendly, flexible demeanor has put us at ease and made an otherwise stressful situation enjoyable."  – Kempton Stephens, PrognoCIS

"I have been working with Dan to renew my current lease and also looked at relocation options.  Dan has been amazing, he has been very knowledgeable and responsive throughout the entire process.  I have thrown so many different options and even a few curve balls at him and he has always responded positively and put in the extra work.  I feel he has been very honest and open with me and truly feel like he in on my side and not putting his own interests or that of a Landlord in front of mine.  I have been so impressed by him I have even referred a fellow Agent to him who had the exact same feelings and impressions as I have expressed above.  “Dan’s the Mann” when it comes to all your leasing needs."  – Scott Brown, State Farm

More than seven months into the COVID-19 pandemic, most office workers are still working from home, but the lasting viability of remote working remains to be seen. The amount of available sublease space across the market increased 73 percent since the end of March to 962,393 square feet, the highest level seen since Q2 2009.
