Professional Summary
Chris is Senior Vice President of the Industrial Group at Colliers International in Reno NV. He specializes in industrial property sales, leasing, investments, and land, and has had the benefit of working with many local, regional, and national tenants and landlords. Chris started his industrial real estate career with Mark Glenn of Industrial Properties of Nevada in 2007. In 2009, Chris joined Grubb & Ellis’s Reno Office and re-affiliated with the local office to Avison Young in 2012.
Chris actively serves on the Board of Directors at NAIOP for the last two years. Prior to that the Developing Leader Chair for Northern Nevada NAIOP Chapter in 2012 and 2013. Chris volunteers annually with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, and the Truckee River Foundation. Chris actively supports the Nevada Land Trust, Friends of Nevada Wilderness, and The Holland Project. Interests include hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, cross country skiing, kayaking and fly fishing.

Chris has actively generated over 5,000,000 sf of industrial business, and played a part in over 2,000,000 sf of industrial transactions in the Reno Sparks market since 2007. Chris has received the following awards:

Education
Chris received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from The University of Nevada, Reno in 2001. From 2007 through 2013 a minimum of 70% of his time has been spent representing local tenants & buyers. Knowing the local businesses within the marketplace and understanding their needs has allowed Chris and his team to deliver custom fit solutions per his client’s needs and timeframes.
Chris and his team’s custom fit solutions to his clients' needs and time frames have led to many multi-market assignments. Chris and Colliers Supply Chain Solutions group have assisted numerous clients with their network optimization and site selection in the US. Additionally, Chris is an active member of the Logistics and Transportation Group at Colliers.
Chris has had the opportunity to welcome many companies into the market and assisting them in underwriting their business operations from a Northern Nevada location, providing surveys on available industrial options, as well as negotiating terms and overseeing their leasing and purchasing process.
On the other side of the coin, Landlord clients have benefited from this understanding of the marketplace and have been delivered impressive results given Chris’ focus to their product. Chris has also had the opportunity to represent many private buyers and sellers of commercial re investments since receiving his license in 2005, and continues to be knowledgeable about investment product in the Reno/Sparks area.
