Ben is a retail broker in the Detroit market, about half of his business is focused on the city of Detroit. Ben has done more retail transactions in the last 13 years inside the city than pretty much any other single broker. Inside the City of Detroit, Ben helps Buyers and Sellers, Landlords and Tenants of all markets find the right fit for thier business. Outside the city, and in the Metro Market, Ben focuses on retail, strip centers, shopping center, restaurants and other retail focused real estate transactions.
Additionally, Ben does some master broker work, helping tenants find locations nationally.
Ben Hubert has been involved in various aspects of real estate for over 15 years. While attending The University of Michigan, he started a family owned business, Cuzzens Real Estate Services. Cuzzens Real Estate Services evolved to one of the largest local residential appraisal firms in the Metro Detroit area.
Prior to brokerage, Ben earned his Certified General Appraisal License, and appraised and consulted clients on a variety of commercial, industrial, multifamily and retail properties. He has experience preparing appraisals for mortgage, condemnation, estate tax planning, tax appeal, and other purposes.
Over the past 6+ years he has focused his attention on real estate brokerage. Ben’s commercial appraisal background gives him a unique set of skills to appropriately evaluate real estate and negotiate on behalf of his clients. Ben has been focusing on sales and leasing of commercial and multi-family properties, and tenant representation. Ben has been working with several large developers in the City of Detroit, and carved out a niche in Detroit. Ben and his partner, Benji Rosenzweig, have become the 'go-to' Brokers in the City of Detroit for all types of real estate transactions.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and he is an active member of ICSC.
With over 30 years in the commercial real estate industry, Tom has extensive corporate retail experience in all phases of retail site acquisition and development, retail tenant representation, land acquisition and development, as well as marketing, leasing and managing retail real estate properties. Tom also has experience in the development of residential and condominium property.
Lou is primarily a landlord rep specializing in the sales and marketing of retail land and buildings in Southeast Michigan, but also has tenant rep relationships with Rite Aid, Community Choice Credit Union, as well as some other local retailers. He began his real estate career with Perry Drug Stores in 1986 and has also held real estate positions with R.A.DeMattia Development, and Rite Aid Pharmacies.
Suzanne joined Colliers International in April 2015. Since that time she has held roles as a Client Services Coordinator, Senior Client Services Coordinator & Specialist for the Detroit office and in 2021 she was promoted to Operations Coordinator for the Detroit, Ann Arbor and Birmingham offices. In her current position, she manages all listings and transactions. She also has provided training and support for new Client Services Coordinators in responsibilitoes for those positions.
Prior to joining Colliers, Suzanne worked as a Executive Administrative Assistant for various companies in Texas, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Suzanne is a Michigan native and before leaving Michigan, she supported a top producing Residential Real Estate Professional and held her Real Estate license and Builder's Sales license, that has provided her with a vast knowledge of the Real Estate industry.
