Mr. Gibson joined Colliers as an associate in 2005 specializing in the areas of corporate representation and brokerage. With over fourteen years experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Gibson has completed hundreds of transactions including lease transactions, build to suit, design build, land acquisitions, building acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and partnership structures. His clients include institutional property owners, developers, service, distribution & manufacturing companies and high net worth individuals.
Prior to joining Colliers Mr. Gibson spent five years with KLA-Tencor where he worked as a Project/Sales Engineer responsible for generating and managing domestic and international sales activities of multi-million dollar semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Prior to joining KLA-Tencor Mr. Gibson served in the US Navy from 1995 to 2000 as a Submarine Warfare Officer. During his service aboard the USS Archerfish Mr. Gibson acted as the ship’s Reactor Controls and Electrical Officer where he was responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all nuclear reactor control, protective, and monitoring systems, in addition to all electrical generation and distribution equipment.
Upon completing his duties on the USS Archerfish Mr. Gibson was assigned to the USS Henry M. Jackson where he acted as the ship’s Main Propulsion Officer responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all primary and secondary systems of a nuclear power plant including steam systems, seawater systems, chemistry, distilling plants, and lube oil.

Lisa joined Colliers in 2010 as Director of Market Research and has 37 years of commercial real estate experience. Lisa initiates proactive market research projects to further the business goals of the company. She writes and prepares 29 market reports annually, including quarterly reports on Houston's retail, office, industrial and healthcare properties. Further, she prepares statistical ownership reports for various clients as well as an annual Houston Economic Overview. Lisa also creates PowerPoint market presentations, trade journal articles, and other marketing materials supporting the company's business endeavors. She works with senior management in planning the company's marketing strategy and public relations support for local and national conferences, luncheon meetings, recruitment programs, and special events. Lisa works closely with the company's brokers to develop effective custom market research material specific to existing and potential clients.
Lisa serves on the Colliers Editorial Board, the Colliers U.S. Research Council, and is a recipient of the Colliers Researcher of the Year Award.
Lisa earned the Commercial Property Research Certification (CPRC) from Colliers University. CPRC is the first and only accreditation for commercial real estate research professionals. It offers a professional development path to increase strategic and tactical expertise in marketing/research, knowledge of the industry and capabilities with commercial real estate tools.
Bringing 32 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marilynne joined Colliers in 2018 to provide financial analysis to the company’s leasing and investment sales teams for all types of assets, including the following types of financial analysis:
- lease renewal and relocation comparisons
- mid-term lease renegotiations (“blend and extend”)
- lease buyouts
- sublease disposition/recovery
- build-to-suit vs. design-build
- lease vs. buy
- own vs. sale/leaseback

Prior to joining Colliers, she specialized in advising companies regarding their financial analysis for commercial real estate requirements or investments for 17 years. Marilynne also has a background in commercial mortgage underwriting/loan originations and commercial real estate appraisal.
Bethany is a commercial real estate professional with legal experience. She translates her creative and innovative ideas across all service lines in this ever-changing industry. Bethany excels at providing excellent customer service to both her internal team and external clients. She delivers high-quality capital markets, tenant and landlord representation, and property marketing reports and presentations. She is highly organized and has a keen eye for details, ensuring a high standard of quality in everything she does.
As the primary project coordinator for the Colliers office in Houston, she supports a team of advisors who specialize in all property types including land, office, retail, industrial, healthcare, and investments. She works on projects from proposal stages to closing and strives to help her team exceed their clients’ needs and expectations.
Bethany earned both the Commercial Property Marketing Certification (CPMC) and Commercial Property Research Certification (CPRC) from Colliers University.
