Billy specializes in consulting and representing corporate clients in all aspects of managing their real estate. He is responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business, and executing on transactions for his team.
He has a special talent for client consultation to assess needs and determine appropriate resources to act on those needs. He has worked on various assignments including: site selection, portfolio transaction management, one-off tenant representation projects, build-to-suits, and investment sales.
He began his career in commercial real estate in 2001 as a business development manager at Mohr Partners Inc. In 2003, he became a senior associate at Cawley International. A year later, he joined the corporate services advisory team as a senior associate at the Trammell Crow Company. In 2006, Trammell Crow Company merged with CBRE and he continued his tenure there as a senior associate. Prior to joining Colliers International in June 2011, he was an associate vice president at Grubb & Ellis Company.

Mary King is a Senior Client Services Specialist in the office and industrial divisions of Colliers Dallas-Fort Worth. Her teams consist of Senior Vice President Billy Vahrenkamp, Executive Vice President Tom Pearson, Executive Vice President Chris Teesdale, and Senior Associate Brad Balke. Her role consists of overall transaction coordination from initial market research to close out packages. Mary’s experience involves both commercial and residential real estate. She has worked on everything from processing residential mortgages to residential and commercial REO closings, and she has supported commercial brokerage teams specializing in office tenant representation and institutional investment sales.
