COMPANY EXPERIENCE Arnold G. Friedman is a Senior Vice President with Colliers International. He has been an active commercial and industrial real estate broker in San Diego since 1978, specializing in industrial and research & development sales and leasing. PRIOR EXPERIENCE Prior to joining Colliers International (formerly Iliff Thorn & Company) in 1987, Arnie was the top industrial salesman with Business Properties Brokerage Company for five consecutive years (1982 to 1987). He spent his first four years in the business with a company called Commercial Realty, where several other Colliers Senior Vice Presidents began their real estate brokerage and development careers. Prior to coming to San Diego, Arnie worked in the Governor's Office of Economic Planning and Development for the State of Arizona where part of his time was spent on special assignment to the then State Senator now Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O'Connor. Arnie originally came to San Diego in 1974 on a grant from the Ford Foundation to the City and County of San Diego to study the "Economic Impacts of Growth and Development" on the County's economy.


Working primarily in the Kearny Mesa/Sorrento Valley/Miramar Road/Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, Arnie has sold or leased an average of a quarter of a million square feet of space every year for the last twenty-seven (27) years. He is a skilled negotiator and is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate sales, leasing, and development, including build-to-suits, sale lease-backs, ground leases, and site analysis and acquisition.
