Amanda joined the Colliers in the Houston office in 2019. Using her drive and passion, she has quickly excelled within our office supporting our Industrial and Land team. Her area of expertise includes developing and maintaining a staged marketing program for listing assignments, listing pitches, proposals and agreements, tenant/buyer site tour coordination, market research, marketing initiatives, online database maintenance and tracking deals, client support, and contract/lease administration. She is experienced in the use of advanced software programs for use in the marketing and collateral of all properties.
Amanda earned both the Commercial Property Marketing Certification (CPMC) and Commercial Property Research Certification (CPRC) from Colliers University. CPMC and CPRC are the first and only accreditations for commercial real estate marketing and research professionals. It offers a professional development path to increase strategic and tactical expertise in marketing/research, knowledge of the industry and capabilities with commercial real estate tools.

Christopher S. Klein commenced his commercial real estate career in 1982, when he began working for Robert S. Wilson Investments, a medium sized developer.
Within a year, Mr. Klein was asked to join Wilson & Wilson, a development company formed by a departing principal of Robert S. Wilson Investments. He served as Project Manager for the development of five shopping centers totaling more than 410,000 sq. ft. and two office buildings totaling 100,000 sq. ft.
In 1985, Mr. Klein became Vice President of Development for The HouReal Corporation where he was project manager for the development of more than 240 acres of raw land. Mr. Klein’s responsibilities included the construction of streets and utilities and the formation of Municipal Utility Districts. Upon completion of the infrastructure, Mr. Klein sold 80+ acres of mixed-use commercial land to investment builders such as Trammell Crow Co., Crow-Western Co., Health Care and Retirement Corporation of America, Southland Corporation and First Texas Savings Association.
In March of 1997, Mr. Klein merged his accounts with Henry S. Miller Commercial and joined the firm as Vice President. At Henry S. Miller, Mr. Klein completed more than 500 transactions, many of which were with national and regional clients such as Transpak, Premier Car Rental, Staff Force, Vexapak, Madewell, ENGY, Proportional Technologies, Crescent Directional Drilling, and many more.
In March 2001, Mr. Klein joined Colliers International as a listing specialist in commercial properties and automobile dealerships. Mr. Klein holds positions on the Colliers Life Sciences Steering Committee and the Colliers Automobile Retails Services Group (CARS) Steering Committee.
Since that time, Mr. Klein has sold more than 250 buildings and more than 2,000 acres of land to industrial users and developers. This is in addition to his leasing more than 2MM square feet of industrial space on behalf of tenants and landlords. Mr. Klein has also been involved in multiple investment sales having a cumulative value of more than $150MM.

Mr. Taetz offers more than 34 years of experience with Colliers with a strong focus on industrial multi-modal transactions spanning a broad range of logistics projects including raw land site selection, high volume warehousing, manufacturing, rail car storage–in-transit, and development of barge fleeting facilities.
Prior to joining Colliers in 1986, Mike was employed as a construction manager with Brown & Root and, thereafter with the Trammell Crow Company. His knowledge of supply chain related facilities has benefited a variety of clients with their site selection process, leading to his involvement in more than 400 transactions, valued at over one billion dollars. Mr. Taetz became a Principal in the Houston office of Colliers in 1997.
With more than 40 years of experience in leadership, sales and marketing, Abel Garcia is an accomplished, ethical and inspirational manager. His background includes hiring and building sales and marketing teams, with particular ability to equip and enable teams to meet and exceed objectives. Abel strives to consistently expand his responsibilities based on performance and continues to grow as a leader. His experience has led him to be a highly respected and trusted executive among management and subordinates alike.
Abel’s extensive training in sales growth and passion for marketing has built a platform to excel at Colliers Houston with responsibilities such as creating property briefs, marketing plans and advertising materials. He utilizes his strategic planning expertise by updating the annual business plan and is constantly communicating active property assignments with appropriate staff members.
Principal & Director
Robert Alinger specializes in the leasing, disposition, acquisition, and site selection of industrial and land in Houston and the greater gulf coast region. His expertise with site entitlements, new development, and project leasing has established his reputation as a leading service provider to the industrial development community.
Mr. Alinger joined Colliers Houston in 2019, was named Principal in 2020, and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. In his second year with Colliers, he completed $165,000,000 in transactions, was the Top Producer of the Industrial Services Division, and the No. 2 producer across all product types in the Houston office.
Since 2016, Robert represented National Property Holdings, a Houston based Industrial Development Firm, in the acquisition of 20 tracts of land, totaling more than 1,550 acres. He facilitated the development of these business parks, and currently represents their growing portfolio of more than 5,300,000 SF of Class A Industrial space.
Mr. Alinger is a native Texan and was born in Houston. He began his real estate career in 2006 after graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Robert, his wife Patrice and children, Reese and Nolan, live in Bunker Hill Village.
Mr. Gibson specializes in industrial tenant and buyer representation, property disposition, design/construct, build-to-suit evaluations, development and investment transactions. He has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience in the industrial and land sector and represents clients with a local presence as well as clients nationally and internationally.
In 2014, Barrett was a Colliers' Everest Award recipient. This award, created in 2011, is bestowed upon the top 10% of all Colliers professionals in brokerage, valuation and corporate solutions across the U.S. business based on revenue production.
Previously Barrett was a Senior Broker at NAI Houston for more than 10 years. In late 2011, he became Managing Principal at Cresa Houston when his firm, Houston-based Gibson & Granello Realty Partners LLC, merged with the local Cresa office.
Jason specializes in industrial transactions, focusing in the areas of tenant representation, buyer representation, sublease, property disposition, design construct, and build to suit assignments. Jason joined Colliers as a Senior Associate in the Industrial Services Group in 2013. He began working in commercial real estate in 2009. Prior to Colliers, Jason was an Associate at Cresa Houston.
Ben started with Colliers in Houston as an intern in the summer of 2017. Within that time, he participated in a rotational internship working with brokers from the industrial, land, office, multi-family, investments and appraisal group. He prepared market analytic reports, prospected commercial areas, attended broker price analysis walk through inspections, and conducted saturation and site comparison reports for senior level management for the appraisal and valuation department. Now Ben works with Barrett Gibson and Jason English in the Industrial and Land services group. He specializes in tenant representation.

Paul specializes in industrial representation for logistics companies, manufacturing and corporate users of space. He works with his clients to execute cost reduction strategies, multi-market transactions, site selection and build to suit projects, disposition of surplus property and overall portfolio management. Paul began working in the industrial and land services group at Colliers Houston 2017. Before joining Colliers, Paul began his real estate career in 2014 in Baton Rouge, LA, and has extensive knowledge of both Houston and Louisiana markets.
Paul has completed transactions spanning across an array of industries, including logistics, distribution, manufacturing and food/beverage. Paul has been involved in many different commercial real estate transactions and services throughout his career, including, sales, build-to-suits, investments, site selection, lease negotiation, lease restructure, and sale/leasebacks.
