I am a registered architect having spent the majority of my career designing buildings for public and private institutions throughout the country. As my career progressed I became interested in managing construction projects from a different perspective, the Owners.
As a member of the Colliers International | Project Management Northeast team I get great satisfaction in the fact that I assist building owners in meeting their budget and schedule goals while receiving the quality of work that they expect on their new construction, renovation and addition, and infrastructure upgrade projects. When serving as Owner’s Project Manager, I become an extension of our client’s staff allowing the building owner to focus on their daily activities knowing that our trusted team is in place to see their project through from beginning to end.
When representing municipalities and school districts, I act as the owner’s liaison with state agencies that provide project funding and ensure that the rigorous process is being followed in order to maximize the client’s potential reimbursement from the State. Public construction projects are expensive and can have significant tax implications on local homeowners. Early during a project’s design, I engage with the community to inform them on why the construction project is important, get their feedback, and work to get their vote for the project.
