In my current role with Colliers International, I lead a team that develops and manages building projects primarily in the Maine market with clients that are both tenants and building owners. I specialize in working with clients who are in the healthcare industry and thrive working on complex projects. Starting at the design phase, or often earlier in the planning process, I am directly involved through design, construction, and move-in.
I began my real estate career in the architectural industry, designing and managing projects to deliver a high-quality, budget-conscious product, and often working as the owner’s representative as well. Over the years, I have worked in many areas of development and consulting, including design, facilities, operations, and management, so I am very knowledgeable about the various aspects of a project. Projects that I manage range from small to large, with highlights including a $300+ million newbuild hospital on a greenfield site as well as a nearly $500 million renovation and addition project for Maine Medical Center.
Even after fifteen years in the industry, I continue challenging myself to learn new things and take on more complex projects. My highest priority with all projects is to fulfill the needs of the owner and create maximum transparency in the project to ensure operational success. I am a big proponent of sustainability and incorporate this passion into my work. Beyond the office, I stay involved in the community and currently use my expertise to volunteer on the Project Review Board for the Town of Freeport, Maine.
