Managing Director, Project Management
Chris Neese joined Colliers Nashville in August 2018 to launch and direct the firm’s new project management division. Bringing extensive entrepreneurial, project management, and economic development experience, Chris is uniquely suited to advise clients/tenants through the construction, occupancy, and closeout processes. He will act as the owner’s representative, guiding clients from lease through occupancy. Chris will manage all vendors involved in tenant build-out or renovation, including general contractors, architects, commercial movers and more. The addition of an in-house project management division allows Colliers Nashville to provide a more holistic client experience. Across the US, Colliers International has more than $6.5 billion in project management work under development.
Previously, Chris served as Chief Operations Officer for Strategic Hospitality, the restaurant group behind prominent Nashville eateries including The Catbird Seat, Patterson House, and Pinewood Social. Before joining Strategic Hospitality, Chris was Chief Operations Officer at Community Hospitality, LLC, where he helped grow the company from one location with 45 employees to 7 locations with a combined 280 employees. His entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of BUZZ Entertainment, an artist management company, and AAAG, a group that specialized in acquiring capital for commercial real estate developments. He also helped VantagePointe Investments develop assisted living facilities and multifamily properties across Middle Tennessee. Notably, Chris led the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director from 2009 to 2013.
A native of Brentwood, TN, Chris earned his bachelor’s of business administration in management at Nashville’s Belmont University. He is heavily invested in giving back to the Middle Tennessee community and is co-founder and past president of the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID). Chris has served on the boards of Leadership Cheatham County, The Regional Chamber Alliance, Middle Tennessee Tourism Council and PENCIL Metro Nashville Public Schools Career Academies.
At the Nashville office of Colliers International, Lauren Bonfield joined the project management team with expansive knowledge of the construction and design industries. At Colliers, Lauren focuses on all facets of a project, including pre-construction research, creating and maintaining the budget, scheduling, procurement, and quality to ensure the timely completion of each project. She has successfully worked on a portfolio valued at over $310MM as an owner representative and construction project manager.
Prior to joining the Colliers’ Nashville office, Lauren worked at Capitol Construction as a Project Manager where she managed tenant office build-outs at all stages, from bidding to final turnover. Prior to joining the Capitol Construction team, Lauren was an Associate Project Manager at CBRE where she was responsible for leading individual and multi-tenant projects.
Lauren has a Master of Business Administration from Lipscomb University and Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in Interior Design.
