The San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Simi Valleys are a geographical area roughly bounded by the Santa Susana Mountains to the west, the San Gabriel Mountains to the east, the Santa Monica Mountains to the south and Castaic Lake to the north. It lies within the northwestern portion of Los Angeles County and the southeastern portion of Ventura County and is comprised of a large portion of the City of Los Angeles and includes several unincorporated cities.
