Colliers | Industrial & Logistics Maps: Occupier Conditions & 12month Outlook

Our latest I&L maps depict a continued shift toward neutral and landlord friendly conditions. By the end of 2020 landlord friendly markets had increased their coverage to 49% of markets, from 41% a year earlier. This trend will continue over 2021 to cover 53% of markets by year end. Tenant conditions will remain limited to around 18% of markets. This is reflected in widespread rent stability, with some core markets expecting rents to increase for both smaller warehouse and larger distribution units. Damian Harrington is a Director and Head of Research for both Global Capital Markets and EMEA at Colliers. Damian holds a Masters degree in European Property Development and Planning from University College London, a BPI Bachelor of Planning from the University of Amsterdam and a BA (Hons) in Town and Country Planning from Manchester University. He is also a qualified surveyor, holding an MRICS with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
