Globally, the COVID-19 crisis has dramatically impacted the way we work and at Colliers we believe this shift will affect not only how we work in the short-term but will have far-reaching effects on work and the workplace. To help understand this. we have recently conducted a global 'Work from Home· experience survey. engaging over 5.000 respondents in 25 countries across 18 sectors.

We must emphasise that our current views on the work from home situation will not necessarily be fully representative of our views in the future. These are adapting and changing according to a myriad of health, economic and societal forces. We continue to measure the pulse of working from home. how these experiences change over time and influence trends in, as well as the impact on real estate requirements and decision making.

In summary. we must keep in mind that. depending on where you are in the world, we are just 4-6 months into this truly global event and the combination of countries. companies and individuals will result in a wide variety of results. Not to mention. although maybe temporarily forgotten. that there are other geopolitical influences at play.
