Businesswoman of the Year is a nationwide and prestigious competition organised by the Sukces Pisany Szminką foundation, which for 10 years has been recognising the successes of women in business, science and culture, and also opening up a wide variety of additional development opportunities for participants.
The competition jury features representatives of different business communities and sectors, including Polish business legend Dr Irena Eris, who chairs the jury, as well as sportswoman Anna Lewandowska and Head of Polsat Cafe TV programme and journalist Jolanta Borowiec.
Monika Rajska-Wolińska won in the Female Champion of Change category, in which the competition recognises women leaders working for corporations who hold high positions, implement programs to support women and develop diversity policy in their organisation.
“Women have enormous potential and strength, they are like unpolished diamonds – we only have to give them a chance and trust, create conducive conditions and show support and understanding. The moment I took over the position of Managing Partner I have been involved in supporting women’s career development, both in our company and in the business environment. Women represent about 65% of all employees in our company, and they work as partners, directors and managers. I am very happy to receive such an award and I would like to say thank you for it on behalf of all women who work at Colliers,” says Monika Rajska-Wolińska, Managing Partner of Colliers International in Poland.
Monika Rajska-Wolińska has over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector. In 2011, she started working for Colliers International as Managing Partner.
