A passionate leader who loves spending time building his 1968 Dodge Charger RT. Experts choose experts like Charles.
Why do you work at Colliers?
I've worked at Colliers for 32 years. For me, there's one reason and one reason only why I work at Colliers – and it's because of our great people. It's a combination of their can-do attitude, their desire to be the best that they can be every day and to be number one in their respective markets. And because of their open, honest and collaborative working styles.
From my point of view, it makes it a huge amount of fun and a great pleasure to be a part of this team.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
Well, for me, I love cars and motorbikes. By way of example, I'm currently building a 1968 Dodge Charger RT and we're creating a retro ride. So Google that, a retro ride.
But more interesting than that, I have this incredible work of art. It's probably the most beautiful piece of art you'd ever see on two wheels: it's called a Boss Hoss. It was fully customised in the United States, and it has a V8 engine. That's right – a V8 motorbike. It doesn't matter how busy I get. When someone wants to see photographs, I put down my tools and I show them.
So if you want to see some photographs of what we call "Zeus, the God of Thunder"—take it from me, when we start this thing up, it's spits fire and brimstone—you email me at charles.cooper@colliers.com and I'll down tools and send you some photographs of Zeus.
