Colliers International Thailand analysed the situation of the Coronavirus that if it ends quick, it will just be affecting the tourism. However if it ends later than Q2 this year, it will surelt affect the real estate market. This includes the Joint Venture projects as most of the projects are the joint investment projects between Thai, Japanese and Chinese developers especially where the highest proportion of the purchasing power comes from China. The locations in Bangkok that will directly be affected are Ratchada-Rama IX. Also other cities that will be affected are the tourist cities such as Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Hua Hin.
