As a real estate professional with more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Melvin has developed a successful track record in managing acquisitions and investments across Asia.

Prior to Colliers, Melvin was with CDL and responsible for investment, asset management and funds management across multiple asset classes in Asia.

As Director, International Capital for Asia at Colliers, he is responsible for growing cross-border capital within Asia Pacific and has a keen focus on the Singapore market. Besides direct real estate transactions, he is also familiar with platform acquisitions, capital sourcing, equity capital raising and deal structuring.

He will be instrumental in engaging investors across borders as we continue to invest in relationships to deliver enduring value to our clients.

  • Asset Management for portfolio of China commercial projects in tier 1 and 2 key gateway cities with AUM of RMB 19B across GFA of 880,000 sqm
  • Asset Management of Quayside Isle, W Hotel Residences for Blackstone and CIMB (~SGD 2B)
  • Asset Management for luxury residential project, Nouvel 18 for Gaw Capital (SGD 977M)
  • Asset Management for portfolio of 3 commercial properties with AUM of SGD 1.2B – Manulife Centre, Central Mall and Tampines Grande
  • Divestment of Manulife Centre, Singapore (SGD 555M)
  • Divestment of Tampines Grande, Singapore (SGD 395M)
  • Redevelopment of mixed-use site at  Central Mall, Singapore (~ SGD500M)
  • Equity investment in Distrii, leading co-working operator in China (~SGD 150M) with MOIC of 3x
