2018 | Year-end review | Russia | St. Petersburg | Street Retail

The major trend in the development of the street-retail market in the historical part of the city in 2018 was the high rotation among tenants – 16% over the year. The cafe, bar and restaurant segment took top spot in the number of new openings in the World Cup year – its share in the volume of tenants occupying new premises on central corridors in the past year was 50%. This is followed by a large margin by the traditionally active segment of fashion with a share in the number of new openings of only 12%.
