In January – March 2019 different trends for vacant and leased premises were observed on the main retail corridors of St. Petersburg. In general, the dynamic of vacancy rate remains stable around 0.5 – 1 p.p. At the end of Q1 2019, the rate was 5.5%, which is 0.7 p.p. higher compared to Q4 2018. Traditionally predominant in terms of the number of new openings on the main retail corridors was the catering segment, which formed 48% of the total number of openings in Q1 2019.
