The first quarter of 2020 can be roughly divided into two periods for the key retail corridors: January-February, when tenant activity and consumer demand were at a normal level, and March, when tenant development paused due to the coronavirus pandemiс. Nevertheless, tenant activity was high during the first two months, which resulted in a decrease in the vacancy rate on the main retail corridors to 7% against 8.2% in December 2019.
