In the first half of 2018, the total volume of investments in St. Petersburg declined 16% to $520 million compared to the same period of 2017 (including deals on the purchase of land plots). The main decline in investment was in the standing asset segment, while land transactions showed an increase in total number and deal size. 46% of the total volume was formed by deals for the purchase of land plots, predominantly for residential construction.
