In the past half year, a significant decrease in activity was observed in the St. Petersburg investment market, which was expressed in the lowest transaction volume in the past few years. In January – June 2019, the total investment volume amounted to $172 million, which is three times lower than in the same period a year earlier. At the same time, the volume of transactions with standing assets amounted to $57 million. The slowdown occurred both in the land plot transaction segment and among transactions for the acquisition of existing properties.
