The Private Rental Sector: Has it found a home in CEE?

Download Report
Colliers, in collaboration with Greenberg Traurig and Kinstellar, examines the growing residential for rent sector in its recent report entitled The Private Rental Sector: Has it found a home in CEE?  Over the past several years, the interest and level of discussion around this asset class has grown exponentially, while the actual sector activity and broader depth of understanding markedly less so. We may finally be reaching the tipping point in activity levels as several larger transactions have recently occurred, which are now bringing to light the complexities, value drivers and a clearer path forward. In the report, we look at the opportunities and challenges that surround this relatively young asset class in the region, covering the market drivers, development and investment activity, plus also some of the tax and legal conditions that are shaping the sector.
