Colliers International attracts investors interested in the acquisition of the former Nestlé production unit in Timisoara

The real estate consultancy company Colliers International has been appointed as the exclusive sales agent of the former factory owned by the Swiss giant Nestlé in Timisoara. The property, which covers an area of over 21,000 square meters, is located in the industrial and logistical area of western Timisoara, just 300 kilometers away from Budapest, and can accommodate from food production or car components centers to distribution centers for courier companies.

"The location of the factory is very attractive both for companies focused on the local market, offering a connection to the A1 motorway which is only 20 kilometers away, as well as for investors oriented more towards Central and Western Europe, who would have easy access to this position thanks to the direct motorway to Budapest and Vienna. The space is modernized and very versatile, thus offering multiple opportunities to potential investors”, Laurențiu Duică, Partner & Head of Industrial Agency at Colliers International Romania, said.

"Timisoara is a major regional hub and, therefore, there is an increased interest for properties that can support a new production line or distribution center for a regional investor, thus re-entering the economic circuit and contributing to the creation of new jobs. The market signals are encouraging and the discussions are open to potential investors, so the sale could be completed within a few months, especially since the property can be occupied immediately”, Laurențiu Duică added.
