Colliers | Colliers expands its Portugal team with Mauro Santos as Head of Valuation & Consulting

Colliers (NASDAQ, TSX: CIGI), a leading global real estate investment management and advisory services provider, has appointed Mauro Santos as the new Head of Valuation & Consulting in Portugal. Mauro joins the team led by Pedro Valente, Managing Director of Colliers Portugal.

Mauro has a long professional career with 9 years of experience in the Portuguese real estate sector. Among the different positions specialised in valuations, he spent more than 5 years at B. Prime, a real estate consultancy firm specialised in the Portuguese market, where he has worked for some of the main Portuguese investment funds managed by entities such as Square Asset Management, Santander Asset Management or ECS-Capital. In his last stage at The K Advisors, he has participated in the valuation of the CROW portfolio, which was the main investment operation of the year 2022 in Portugal.

Most recently he worked for WORX Real Estate Consultants (a local company affiliate of Knight Frank in the beginning & then of BNP RE) specifically in the sales transaction arena in all categories of retail, offices, tourism & hospitality, industrial & logistics and distressed assets.

Alejandra Folgado

As Marketing and Communications Director Alejandra is responsible for building a marketing and Comm. strategy that grows brand awareness; drives lead generation and works across business lines to support Colliers Spain and Portugal achieve its growth and customer acquisition goals.

She began her career at Atlas Capital Close Brothers in 2001 and joined to irea in 2006, where she was Knowledge & Organization Manager for almost 4 years. After a 5 years of professional and personal experience in Italy, she returns to irea as Marketing & Communications Manager.

From January 2015 she has been Head of Marketing and Communications at irea until March 2018, when the spanish firm integrates in Colliers International.

Alejandra studied at Carlos III University (Madrid) where she has a bachelor degree in Information Sciences. She holds an International Marketing and Communications Master from Polimoda Business School (Italy).

She has worked in Marketing and PR across various industries including Financing, Real Estate, Fashion and Hospitality. Alejandra also has experience in managing and coordinating events including conference, congress and trade fairs.
