Shopping streets in Warsaw's residential estates | Q3 2022

Retail, services and gastronomy

We invite you to read the report on shopping streets in Warsaw's residential estates. The report was preceded by a June study of retail spaces, in 14 districts of the capital with booming residential development, which included 40 locations with a high concentration of retail, services and gastronomy. The premises' stock, standard, purpose, availability and also the level of rents were analysed.

Key findings:

  • The study took into consideration about 3,500 properties with an estimated total area of over 360,000 m² GLA.
  • According to widespread observations, grocery stores, health and beauty services, cafes, restaurants and bistros are dominant in new residential developments.
  • The variety and quality of the offer and the ingenuity of tenants in creating unique retail, service and catering concepts.
  • Despite the presence of chain companies, new housing developments are the domain of individual entrepreneurs.
