Land in the centre of Wrocław put up for sale

Warsaw, July 16, 2020 KGHM VII Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty Aktywów Niepublicznych has put up for sale a plot of land for office buildings located at Jana Pawła II Square in Wrocław. The owner is represented in the transaction by Colliers International, a leading real estate advisory firm. The offering will last until August 31, 2020.

The site is 9,667 sq m in area and is held partially in perpetual usufruct and partially in freehold by a SPV company owned by the vendor. The owners have obtained and maintained in force a building permit for the development of a two-building office complex totalling 31,800 sq m of GLA. The lower floors of the buildings may be used as commercial and service space.

“The plot is located in the very centre of the city, where it is extremely difficult to find land for commercial development today. Wrocław is the second regional city after Kraków, where the supply of modern office space exceeded 1 million sq m and is still growing due to high tenant activity. Taking into account these factors, it can be concluded that the area belonging to KGHM VII FIZAN is currently the most prestigious office land in the capital of Lower Silesia. We expect that this sale will be one of the most important transactions of 2020 in Wrocław,” says Emil Domeracki, director of Investment Land Services at Colliers International.

KGHM VII FIZAN focuses on broadly understood health care and active recreation. Its portfolio includes 4 spa companies operating in resorts - Polanica, Duszniki, Kudowa, Świeradów, Cieplice and Świnoujście, as well as mineral waters under the brands Staropolanka and Wielka Pieniawa, produced by Uzdrowisko Kłodzie S.A. - PGU Group. The sole shareholder of the group is KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., a world leader in the extraction and processing of copper and silver.
