Barry Callebaut has renegotiated the lease agreement (3,007 sq m) for its shared services center in the University Business Park II office building in Łódź. Additionally the tenant, supported in the transaction by Colliers International advisory firm, decided to expand its office space by 3,011 sq m.
Barry Callebaut has been present in the University Business Park II since 2015. Due to the dynamic development of the company in Poland, the demand for office space has doubled.
“Our organization has anchored in Łódź and sees great potential in this place. We have very ambitious development plans in this city,” says Maciej Kulbat, Managing Director of the Shared Services Center at Barry Callebaut.

Barry Callebaut is an international group, formed from the merger of two corporations involved in the production of chocolate – the French company Cacao Barry and the Belgian Callebaut. Today, it is one of the world's largest cocoa manufacturers and chocolate producers. The company's headquarters is located in Zurich. In Łódź, apart from the shared service center in the University Business Park II, the company has a factory operating since 1995, located in Nowy Józefów district.
University Business Park is a complex of two 7-storey office buildings with a total area of over 40,000 sq m. Location at Wólczańska Street, in direct vicinity of Piotrkowska Street and the Lodz University of Technology, provides easy access to services and public transport. The property received the BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level.
