Colliers International appointed as an exclusive leasing agent for Senator office building

Colliers International, a leading commercial real estate advisory firm, has been appointed as an exclusive leasing agent for the Senator office building located in Warsaw and owned by an open-ended real estate fund managed by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH  The Hamburg-based real estate investor manages a portfolio of 20 commercial properties in 11 Polish cities worth approximately 2 billion euros.

The Senator is an A-class office building located at 12 BielaƄska Street in Warsaw. It offers approximately 25,000 square metres of office space. Among its tenants are such companies as PKN Orlen and Discovery Polska. The building was constructed in 2012 in a spot historically connected to Polish key financial intuitions. In the 17th century, it was the location of the Polish Mint, during the time of the Partitions of Poland it became the headquarters of the State Bank, and in the 1920s – the Bank of Poland. The historic elements of walls and foundations of the old Bank building, damaged during WWII and later demolished, are preserved inside of the Senator’s lobby.

Izabela has 14  years of experience in leasing and asset management in CEE region, specializing in office buildings.  She is holding a real estate license and completed post-graduate studies at the Institute of Spatial Management and Housing and the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management.

Izabela is leading the Landlord Representation department, supervising work of the team in Warsaw and overlooking Landlord Representation services in regional cities. She  working with Clients to set up and leasing strategies for their properties.

Before joining Colliers in July 2019, she was  for 7 years working for Heitman, managing office assets with a total value of more than EUR 500 million and area of 260,000 sqm located in Warsaw and Budapest. She was responsible for developing strategic plans for managed assets, tendering and establishing team of service providers working on the assets after acquisitions.

She was also overseeing Property Management and leasing of managed properties. During the time at Heitman, he was involved in leasing/extensions of more than 300 000 sqm.She was also responsible for extensive repositioning programs that were implemented in 2 assets.She was also responsible for refinancing of the assets and cooperation with lenders.

Before joining Heitman, Izabela gained real estate experience working for 6 years at DTZ in the office agency department, mainly representing Landlords and leasing buildings with a total area of approx. 130 000 sqm.
