With over 25 years of research and consultancy experience, Richard has been involved in various projects in Asia. He has been involved in various projects in Asia particularly the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. This has covered sectors from simple developments to large-scale mixed uses with office, retail, residential, hotel, industrial and institutional land uses.
Richard has been involved in complex assignments that entail creative solutions. This would include brand conceptualization, destination development, land use spatial analysis and marketing strategies.
Chief Operating Officer
David has 30 years of experience in real estate markets in Europe and Asia. David joined Colliers International’s Asia Valuation & Advisory group in Hong Kong in 1994. In this role he was responsible for directing the company’s property research activities in Greater China and as part of a regional development consultancy team for handling client assignments throughout East Asia. Due to his on-going involvement with increasing number of projects in the Philippines, David relocated to Colliers’ Manila office in 1996 where he headed the company’s Advisory team while still maintaining regional consulting responsibilities. Thereafter, appointed Director | Investment Advisory, David transferred to Colliers’ Singapore office in 1999 where he subsequently took the role of Director | Corporate Solutions, providing pan-Asia strategic planning and property specific real estate solutions for a wide range of clients including 3M, Reuters and Johnson & Johnson. After a short career break in the UK, David re-joined Colliers International Philippines in 2006 as Managing Director and Country Head, a position he held until 2018 when he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in the Philippines; an organisation with offices in Manila and Cebu and 725 staff.
