May 21, 2018, Cebu – Grand Land, Inc., the Gaisano Grand Group’s real estate arm, has signed a deal with Colliers International Philippines, appointing the global real estate services company to manage the leasing of its mixed-use, office condominium development, Grand Tower Cebu. The development is the first high-rise and mixed-use project at the North Reclamation Area in Cebu and features 30-storeys, ample parking space, a vibrant and dynamic grand lobby and three components: office spaces, hotel and retail outlets.
“Grand Tower is one of our focal projects in Cebu and is a critical part of our growth strategy. We are confident that Colliers International will contribute well to the success of this development with their excellent service and global track record,” said Ryan Bernard Go, president of Grand Land, Inc.
The project’s mixed-use concept makes it an ideal environment for a live-work-play lifestyle. It is highly accessible via public transportation with wide road networks in the neighborhood and boasts of recreational amenities and close proximity to malls, business centers, schools and hospitals.
“We expect more outsourcing and non-outsourcing tenants gravitating toward integrated communities as they offer a better living and working environment. With retail and hotel complements, we expect Grand Tower to be among the preferred office towers in Cebu moving forward,” said Colliers International Philippines Director for Landlord Representation Andrew Gomez.
Colliers also sees Grand Tower capturing a large fraction of the thriving knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) in Cebu. KPO companies that provide higher value outsourcing services such as health information management, software engineering, and finance and accounting are emerging as major contributors to office space absorption in Cebu. “Aside from newer space, KPOs also look for office buildings that enhance the living and working conditions of their employees and we believe that Grand Tower provides these features. Grand Land’s development will definitely play an important role in transforming the way Cebuanos live and work,” Gomez added.
