The Colon Free Trade Zone logistics market has reached a record low vacancy rate.

 

As the largest free trade zone in the Western Hemisphere is positioning itself strongly following a robust performance of re-exports in 2022. Warehouse supply is tight as speculative developers have remained cautious on new projects. Asking rents for ready-to-occupy buildings began to rise; in addition, occupancy of available land for build to suit development is expected in 2023.
