Office Market Report | 1Q 2020

At the end of 2019, the production of goods and services in the Panamanian economy, measured through Gross Domestic Product (GDP), showed a growth of 3.0%, compared to the previous year according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC). This growth of $43,061.10 million was driven by various economic sectors but mainly by the mining sector, being the most dynamic in proportion to the others.

It is important to mention that despite being reflected a lower percentage of the average growth that has remained at 5.0% during the last five years, at the same time, it is outstanding to the rest of Latin America.
