BREEAM certification

BREEAM is an internationally recognized assessment method to determine the sustainability of buildings. With the growing attention for sustainability, this certificate is becoming more important for developers, investors and real estate owners. But also for companies that want to lease only sustainable real estate. Do you want a BREEAM certificate? Our BREEAM experts will happily discuss the possibilities.

Our BREEAM experts start by analysing your situation. Why do you want to certify? What is your ambition? Is that achievable? In newly built real estate, we also look at the design and whether it meets the assessment criteria. We then draw up an action plan for the necessary adjustments. For the technical aspects we have an extensive network of partners. The process is concluded with the actual certification by an independent assessor.

WELL certification

WELL is based on medical scientific research and revolves around seven elements: air, water, nutrition, light, vitality, comfort and spirit. With over 10 years of industry experience across different sectors, Arjan leads the ongoing development and implementation of the Colliers sustainability strategy in the Netherlands, which focusses on improving ESG performance and managing associated risk for a range of occupier and investor clients. He is passionate about driving sustainability in all aspects of the business to preferably exceed stakeholder expectations. Arjan is also part of the ESG Subject Matter Experts Group for the Colliers property management teams across EMEA providing strategic advice on technology deployment, net zero strategies, EU carbon compliance, workplace wellbeing, and the impact that these trends have on service delivery.

Arjan is a regular presenter on sustainability topics and represents Colliers on various industry groups.
